Mark Margolis, Board Chair

An experienced business professional with a passion for social entrepreneurship, Mark Margolis founded his consulting firm Mark Margolis and Associates in 1991. Mark’s entrepreneurial philosophy emphasizes experimentation and innovation, and he works to apply these concepts across the nonprofit and corporate sectors.

Mark’s nonprofit strategy involves identifying and maximizing assets to develop a dependable income stream through leadership and planning. Mark is a devoted activist who lobbies on behalf of immigrant rights, racial economic equality and affordable housing. He lives with his wife Pamela and their three children in Minneapolis.
