self-sufficiency among individuals who are homeless* through
entrepreneurship, employment, and educational assistance.
At Home Group™ DBA Small Sums is
a non-profit organization that helps adults who are homeless,
precariously housed or highly mobile obtain items and services
that they need in order to become employable. Our clients are
individuals who want to work and support themselves and their
families. In order to do that, they need tools or uniforms to
start their jobs, or funds that will allow them to complete training
programs so that they can attain employment. Additionally, some
are entrepreneurs who need a small amount of capital and business
training to start their business. At Home Group™ DBA Small Sums provides these
individuals with the resources that they need, giving them the
tools to move
forward and take ownership of their lives.
 Our
focus is on helping our clients improve their lives through employment
that supports a stable lifestyle. Our partnering organizations
provide job placement and other employment services, but a simple
expense can prevent a job seeker from getting a job or performing
it, or from selling their services. That is where we can help.

includes those who are staying in emergency shelters, staying
in places not fit for human
habitation (such as parks, under bridges, in cars), those staying
with friends or family members temporarily because they have no
home of their own, those living in subsidized housing, those staying
