Brett Zimowicz, Member
As an advocate for people experiencing homelessness and poverty, Brett Zimowicz seeks to diminish the barriers which stand in the way of individual success. He takes interest in the political and economic mobility of people in poverty. He seeks to reduce the negative influence of race and poverty on people moving forward.
Brett's experience includes service as an employment consultant with Catholic Charities of St. Paul and Minneapolis from 2001 to 2007 where he offered employment programming directed at personal empowerment through self-advocacy, skill building and access to technology. He is currently the volunteer coordinator at Catholic Charities. Brett holds of Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Minnesota.
